I
love slide films because they are unique, like small
paintings. They are monolithic and never lie like
artifacts from dark rooms or Photoshop. I love color:
it's too stimulating to be replaced by cheesy black
and white. |
|
I
only use Kodak Ektachrome Elite from
100 to 400 iso. It has extremely fine grain
with excellent sharpness. Portraits show nice
clean skin tones. It can be pushed one stop
with very good results. Although contrast
is increased, grain remains fine.
I also use Kodak PressChrome 100 that
is most similar to Ektachrome Elitechrome.
PressChrome 100 will push OK up to 2 stops
with reasonable results, minimal color balance
shift and slight increase in contrast. |

This
site's pics are all scanned by a Minolta Dimage
Elite 5400. For
bigger prints I use a photolab professional drum
scan. Limited editions are printed on lambda over
perpex tecniques. |
